Chucks & Bowties.

Today I aimed for some casual Friday comfort. It was a bit chilly, but I didn’t feel like doing jeans or pants. So, I threw on this big comfy red sweater & I felt a bit inspired by Doctor Who’s Amelia Pond. (As you know, I am obsessed with Doctor Who. Geronimo!) So, I added the black skirt, tights, thin black socks, & threw on my Chucks. I really think the Chucks added to the casual-ness of the outfit. All I need now is a Doctor & a forest of Weeping Angels!
So, being in that Doctor Who mode I said to myself, “Allons-y!” & decided to decorate my new (Tardis) Blue phone case. I love the result. It looks so awesome. I think I might just have to decorate some more cases & sell them! I’m in love with my phone right now & can’t stop looking at it. & yes, bowties are cool.
But, honestly I love this look. It’s so laid back, yet well put together. & it’s so do-able. It’s nothing fancy schmancy. Very basic, very cool.

It’s Starting to Feel Like Spring Again! (Even though it’s only February.)

Because of the nice weather that’s been around these past few days, today I decided to break out some more fresh & spring-ish from my closet. Unfortunately, the files got corrupted in the camera & when I transferred them this is all I could get! But, it’ll do for now. & yes, that adorable mutt is my Lola. She may be tiny, but she’s got a place in my heart. ♥
My advice you is not only to back up your files, but to not be afraid to bring out those fun, floral, funky prints you have in your closet! You don’t have to wait until the temperature rises. Bring them out & maybe pair it with a winter colored cardigan or shirt underneath.

I think it’s so weird that whoever runs PostSecret lives like 8 minutes away from my house.
It’s kinda awesome too, that such a big blog comes from Germantown. We’re practically tumblr neighbors. & here we thought that Germantown was boring & a deadbeat place.
Who says it’s too cold to be cute?

Even when I went skiing at White Tail today I felt the urge to change up the normal skier’s ensemble.
